Beatrice Nkanza is a finance and consulting professional, boasting over 30 years of experience financial services, strategy consulting and corporate governance. Beatrice has recently launched her own corporate finance and restructuring firm, with focus on women-led firms. Prior to this she was the CEO at Lusaka Stock Exchange (LuSE).
Maria is former Deputy Director of the United Nations within System Staff College. She brings over 30 years of extensive international experience in the multilateral system and is a specialist in learning, leadership development and organization development. Maria also served as Chief of learning, leadership and organization development at UNHQ in New York. Currently, as an independent consultant, facilitator and executive coach, Maria has a particular passion for women’s leadership development.
Frans de Pater
Frans brings on board extensive experience of doing business in Africa and Europe with a primary focus on market and business development and project management. He has worked with firms such as Vlisco, Waste Transformers and Africa Business Communities including his own venture AfricanWise, assisting businesses in their expansion plans including sourcing opportunities and financing.
Fadi brings onboard extensive experience in finance and advisory, ranging from equity and portfolio management to his current role as a financial advisor to his clients as well as overseeing four discretionary managed funds. His insights and contacts on fundraising and managing finances prove to be a real asset for Afriqinsights.
Miriam is a corporate lawyer and represents Afriqinsights on all legal aspects, brings with over almost 10 years of experience in the legal field. She has graduated in Law & Political Sciences at Pompeu Fabra University Spain and Simon Fraser University Canada and a Masters in International Tax at ESADE University.
Sharad is a reputable businessman also from Zambia, having pioneered the IT retail sector in Zambia by providing a B2C retail outlet, the first of its kind. He has since diversified his entrepreneurial ventures into residential and commercial real estate, servicing high profile firms and government agencies.
Ramesh is a well-known businessman from Zambia with a track record of establishing several successful business entities in Southern and East Africa. He holds senior management and director roles at various institutions within financial services, retail and manufacturing sectors.
